Great clean, well maintained facility as with all Westin establishment. This is located right between Lego Land and The Crossing at Carlsbad Gold Course. This resort is situated a bit off the beaten path and there isn't too much around that is within walking distance. There aren't many restaurants nearby beside the hotel restaurant and 7 Mile Kitchen located next door at the Sheraton hotel. Inside this hotel there is the hotel restaurant 20|Twenty and the food here was beyond what we would have expected for hotel restaurants in a good way. Note they do close at 11pm so after that, getting food could be challenging however food here was great and a perfect option for a quick bite. Rooms were large and spacious, clean and had all the amenities one would expect. Our room setup was 2 king size beds, I think this is the first time i've been in a room with 2 kings, normally just 2 queens at most.

There is plenty of outdoor space for you to soak in the Californian sun from an outdoor sitting area with fire pits to a larger resort style pool with ample amounts of lawn chair to relax and ready a book on.

They also have a spa and fitness center on site should you choose to keep up with your workout routines.

If you find yourself forgetting to pack something, Carlsbad Premium Outlets is only a few minute Uber ride away.
